There will be a followup information session for the Berlin Summer Studio, directed by Martin Kläschen and John Manaves.

The workshop will run during the summer semester from June 15th to July 28th 2014 in Berlin, Germany.

SPACE IS LIMITED Studio Berlin is an intense city experience ranging from city tours and building site visits to a design build challenge and exhibition. Highlighted site tours will include Berlin, Bauhaus Dessau, HafenCity Hamburg, and Ørestad Copenhagen.  The workshop’s objective is to define Berlin’s current existence by observing conditions and activities in an effort to develop and better understand an implement an urban intervention.

Students currently enrolled in The College of Architecture will be receive 6 summer studio credits upon completion. The workshop will be in session on a daily basis incorporating studio work and travel. The studio workshop will take place at The Berlin University of the Arts located at the West Berlin Center. Housing accommodations are located at a private apartment complex and include weekly housekeeping, private kitchen, and private bath.
